READ THROUGH THE BIBLE IN ONE YEAR

In 2010 the FBCS family is being encouraged to engage in the practice of reading through the whole Bible together in an intentional and systematic manner. This blog has been created as one way to encourage this endeavor by providing a forum for conversation around the texts. 

The readings for the year will be posted on this site on a weekly basis. A daily reading format is contained in a booklet that can be picked up in the gathering room of the FBCS worship center on any Sunday. You can also request a copy via email at fbcspringfield@gmail.com. Each day includes three passages: one from the New Testament, and two from the Old.  

There is no substitute for reading of God’s Word in its entirety.  As many can confirm, this is a discipline that bears lasting fruit. It is hoped that many will take advantage of this exciting opportunity to read through the whole Bible together.  As you do, please share your thoughts, discoveries, and questions here.  Enter the story of God and allow God to sing the song of love over, in, and through you!
